QCRI/Fanar-1-9B-Instruct

Fanar-1-9B-Instruct is a 9 billion parameter instruction-tuned Arabic-English large language model developed by Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). Continually pretrained on 1 trillion Arabic and English tokens, it supports Modern Standard Arabic and diverse Arabic dialects. This model is optimized for bilingual conversational agents and cultural question answering, aligning with Islamic values and Arab cultures.
